Hello People,
So I'm at work and completely bored out of my mind. It is officially the first day of the semester, but I don't have class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I was just working. I interned in the morning from 8:30-12:30 and my boss was two hours late, leaving me to do nothing on my first day. I then had to run straight to work at Human Resources, where it was also my first day, and that was pretty fun.
There's a lot of time for deep personal reflection, or in my case, staring into space and thinking about nothing. As you can imagine, I am about to collapse as it is now 11 at night, and I have been up and running since 6:30 this morning. Sadly, it is not yet time to go to bed as I am still at work until 1. I would normally give up this shift by now, but a friend works the same shift, and she needs a ride home. I would feel like an epic bitch if I was like no fuck you, walk. I'm sure during the semester I won't be bored as shit as people will actually be here, and I will have work to do.
I wonder how I'm supposed to handle three jobs and being a full-time student, but I will sure try my best to do so. I will let you all know how that goes and if I have a complete and total breakdown. For now, I am going to attempt to finish a book that I started reading over a year ago. More than likely though I'll stare into space and think about how much I want to be in bed.
Goodnight everyone

Witches, Wizards and Doctors: Watching Wicked and Meeting Doctor Oz
"Get up on your feet, and to everyone you meet, say hello."
Yeah, I just brought us back to Dragon Tales.
First, I would like to say that I am exhausted. The bus from home got in at 4:30am, and I had to get up at 7. As you can imagine, that was not fun. It is not even 10am yet, but I am ready to go back to bed. Sadly, I am working overtime today, and I still have to work until 7 or later. It's not that I dislike my jobs, I'm just tired, and as you all know, I don't drink coffee.
The good news is that I saw Wicked on Broadway and OMG it was amazing. When it first started I was like "Oh boy, now I'm going to have to sit through this." That didn't last long at all. Five minutes in I was completely entranced. I loved it. I was on the edge of my seat, I laughed, I awed. It was just so good. I'm really glad that I got to see it. Even though the tickets were pricey, the experience was priceless. I can't wait to see my next Broadway play, which I hope is Aladdin. Fun fact, the first play that I ever saw on Broadway was the Lion King when I was about 10 or 11, so when it first started running. I went with my teacher and a few students. We also got to go backstage and speak with the cast after the show. I still remember that as a time when I was happy. I was never really sure how we got to see it for free, but I do remember that someone on the show was her good friend.
A little bit of information that there is an organization called Kids Night on Broadway. For every full- paying adult, a child age 6-18 can see the show for free when accompanied by an adult. I think that's truly amazing. I didn't need any more encouragement to see more shows, but now I definitely will. Lion King was a magical experience for me, and I know that I wouldn't have been able to see it if I didn't get to go for free because my family can't afford things like that.So yeah, go see Wicked if you can. Shows are fun and just a great way to spend time.
Second, I went to see Doctor Oz as a member of the audience. I don't like being on camera, but I had a lot of fun, and it was a nice time. The crew members try hard to make you feel comfortable and to make you laugh. Plus Doctor Oz is nice and super handsome. I bet he was doctor sexy in his prime.
In addition to all of these amazing events, Victoria also brought back gifts for me, and I loved them all. There was even a chocolate wand and Honey Dukes candy from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Yeah, it was a pretty good day and one day I'll look back and think "Yeah, my twenties were great." That's all I have to say. Thanks for reading.

A Pointless Post
'Ello everyone,
I thought I would just update you all on what has been happening. I am back in Ithaca, even though the semester doesn't start for another two weeks. I am here because I am working. I work from 9-5 with no lunch break. I sincerely question if that is legal. This is the weather update in upstate New York:

I work from 9-5 with no lunch break. I sincerely question if that is legal. This is the weather update in upstate New York:
I obviously have been living here for too long because I don't think it's that bad out. I also dress properly for the weather, so that could be it.
It has been snowing a bit, so I'm getting a crash course in driving. I have learned that it's very easy to speed and that I need to monitor that more (extra dangerous on slick roads). Other than that, things are going well. Work has been fine, and I haven't been that stressed out. I can totally handle the real world! However, I am stressed about the semester that's about to start. I am going to be super busy, but I'm trying to think positively because I want 2015 to be the best year ever, and it's all about mindset.
Final bit of news is that I'm going to see Wicked on Broadway on Tuesday. I'm pretty excited about it, and I will let you guys know what I thought about it.
That's all I have to say. Ha! Finally, a short post.
I hope you enjoyed this completely pointless post.
See you all next time.
2014 Favorites: Beauty Edition
Hello everyone,
Since 2015 began a few days ago, I thought I would continue to reminisce about the things that I loved in 2014. This blog is dedicated to all of the beauty products that I really enjoyed. A fair warning that this post is extra long. Now, on with the blog.
These are my favorite eyelashes. They look amazing and completely natural on me. I really love how they lengthen my eyelashes and provide a bit of volume. I hate when I put on eyelashes and end up looking like I have birds on my eyelids. Lmao in the words of Kat Williams, I don't want to look like I'm going to take flight if I blink too fast. They are perfectly fine to wear during the day. The only thing, which I don't like, is that they are very hard to put on. The lash line has a weird plastic texture that makes putting the glue on and getting it to stick a pain. They should work on that. Regardless of the 20 minutes it takes me to put these lashes on, I still really love them and consider them a favorite of 2014.
When I wear these eyelashes, I feel like this:
As you can clearly see, I need a manicure. Lol, no, this is Woodwinked by MAC. I have had this for over a year now, and I just recently started loving it. It is my go-to color because it compliments my skin tone, it makes my brown eyes pop, and it turns into a smokey brown color when blended for an effortless smokey eye. It's like color changing magic. I hit pan last month, and that makes me excited because it means that I am actually using this 15 dollar eyeshadow and that it was worth the money. Warning that this is an expensive eyeshadow, but it does last for ages. This would look good on nearly every skin tone, and I recommend it if you are looking to treat yourself to something nice.
This is the NARSissist palette by NARS. This is expensive. I believe that it was right around 50 dollars. To put that into perspective that's what I make in 5 hours of work. I got this in early 2014 because it had all of the best NARS face products according to my favorite Youtubers. When I first got this I was very upset because it's small. I immediately thought that this was going to run out right away and was pissed because it was expensive and tiny! Le horror. This is now one of my favorite products, and I really and truly love it. It has lasted me all year, and I have yet to hit pan. I use this nearly every day. I will say that my favorite is the highlighter because the effect is amazing, but the blush and bronzer (Orgasm and Laguna) are pretty great too.
Next is the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer. Holy crap! This is the best product ever. I only got this on black Friday, but I can easily say that it is my favorite product of 2014, if not ever. I have incredibly hooded eyelids (like seriously sometimes my eyes feel like their being dragged down by my lids), and as such, I end up with only a tiny strip of eyeshadow near my lashes and blotches of shadow at the corner of my eyes. Real sexy I tell 'ya. With this product, that's not a problem. My eyeshadow will literally stay on all day with no creases whatsoever. I don't know how I wore eyeshadow before this, but I will be wearing this product every day for eternity.
Also by Too Faced is the Better Than Sex Mascara. I was watching Zoella, and she was raving about this eyeshadow. I love her, and her lashes looked amazing, plus this eyeshadow was on sale. It was like fate. I only paid ten dollars for a set, but sadly it is travel-sized. I will be repurchasing this as soon as it runs out, and probably before. This mascara lengthens, volumizes and separates. If I take the time to apply the mascara correctly, my eyelashes look like I'm wearing fake ones because they are that fantastic. It's like diva level: Beyonce each and every time.
I have already spoken about my Ardell lashes and Mac eyeshadow, so lastly is my RUBY Kisses liquid eyeliner. First let me say that this eyeliner is less than 2 dollars. I love to wear cat eyes eyeliner, and this eyeliner makes it very easy to do it. It is very smooth to apply; I love the applicator, and it lasts well on my lids. Warning not to run your hand across your eyes because you'll look crazy (duh.)
The first product is NARS sheer glow foundation in the color Syracuse. This is the best foundation in the world. I just look like I have flawless glowing skin. I will say that I have pretty good skin to begin wit, but this just adds that extra oomph. The only thing, which I don't like, is that the pump comes separately and costs extra. Considering how expensive this product is, I think that the pump should come with it. Nothing is worse than having too much product come out because that's just a waste of money.
As you all know, I have very curly hair. My hair doesn't have beautiful curls that I can just roll out of bed with. Oh no, my curls are a frizzy mess. The hair mask brings so much moisture to my hair. I only use it once every week and a half because it is that good. My hair just feels silk and soft when I use it, and it will last for well over a week. I love it, and the price wasn't that bad. I think it was around 13 dollars at Duane Reade. I have been using the EverCurl shampoo for about five months. I love it, and I don't think that I will ever not love it. This shampoo is very gentle and leaves my hair looking and feeling healthy. I find that using shampoo that has sulfates and alcohol in it leaves my hair extra frizzy and dry. This shampoo doesn't have those ingredients and is specifically for curly hair. I can't rant about it anymore. Go try it for yourself and let me know what you think.
I know this blog was extra long, like over 1,200 words long. Even I was amazed. I'm trying to make shorter posts, but thank you guys for reading my ridiculous ramblings. I hope that you enjoyed this post. I'll see you next time.

Negative Nancy No More: Looking Back at Good Times
"You can't live a positive life with a negative mind."
Hello everyone,
As you all know, I haven't always been having the best time, and I find that it is really helpful for me to look up inspirational quotes. You all also know that I am incredibly lazy, so props to however said this quote, because it is very true, and I love it. It's similar to a quote that I have up on my wall that reads "You can't reach what is in front of you until you let go of what is behind you." That is also like another quote that I really like: "Don't allow your wounds to transform you into someone you are not." I want to kick off 2015 with positivity, and my resolution is to make this the best year ever. In an effort to do this, I will now be super cheesy and list the top 3 moments of 2014. This is to remind myself that a lot of it was light and to not let a great year become a dark stain because I am thinking negatively. Without further ado, my top moments.
Moment #1: Going to Universal Studios with Victoria
2014 was an amazing year, and I'm glad that I got to spend it with amazing people. You all know that Victoria is one of my closest friends, so having her at Universal was great because she is fun, and she pushed me to get over my fears and to enjoy my life. Now, I adore Harry Potter, and I legit almost cried from excitement when I got to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was the best day of my life!

Look at how pumped I am just to look at wands. Knowing me, I am probably pointing at Snape's wand or Draco because I love them. Honestly guys, I can be a negative person, and I can just tell how truly overjoyed I was to be there. This was an amazing day for me, and I will always remember it as such.
Aside from getting to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I also got to see the rest of Universal Studios where I conquered my fear of Roller Coasters.
Look at how not terrified I look to be riding a roller coaster. I can't wait to go back to Florida and Universal Studios because you already know that I will be in Diagon Alley.
Moment Numero Dos: Being in Australia
Not many people get the opportunity to travel, and I know that I would have never got a chance to go to the other side of the world if it weren't for my scholarship program. Australia was the best time of my life, and I adored every single moment of it, even when there were days when I just wanted to go home. As weird as it is, I consider Australia to be one of my homes, and I can't wait to go back. Since I have to pick a moment, and I am indecisive, I am going to pick three. Black water rafting in New Zealand, going on a cruise to New Caledonia and watching the sunrise at the Daintree rain forest. I can't express how grateful I am to have these memories and to be so blessed.
This is real life and I was in the oldest Rainforest in the world. It was a fun day, and I was a real adventurer.
I don't even remember what was so funny, but clearly I was having a blast.
This was the day when I realized who I was, and what I love to do. On this day, I learned that fear doesn't have to control me. Can't you guys just tell how pumped I am with life?
Moment 3: Family
This is a little sappy, but my final best moment was coming home to see my newborn nephew. I had an amazing time traveling, but I did miss my family, and I was the happiest auntie in the world when I got to meet my first nephew finally. His name is Austin, and he is seven months old now. He totally lights up my world, even though he is teething right now.
Looking back at everything good in my life, I can safely say that 2014 was an amazing year. The fall may not have been as great, but I still had a great year. Let this be a lesson to myself to think more positively because it is so easy for me to ruin my year and life by thinking that everything sucks.
I hope that you all enjoyed that. I would love to know about your top moments.
Cheers to starting 2015 the right way!

Anxiety sucks
Hello,
In an effort to stay committed to my blog, I am going to update. I am suffering from pretty bad anxiety again. If you guys remember, at the beginning of the semester I had anxiety so severe that I would panic several times a week and couldn't ever calm down. I haven't reached that level yet, but it is pretty bad. I can feel my heart racing fro no reason, and I feel like I can barely breath. I really wish I knew why I was having so much anxiety. I'm on vacation right now, so I don't have a reason to be panicking. I wish I could calm down, and I'm currently looking for ways to do so. I would love suggestions. I'm going to take up yoga.
Other than that, nothing much has happened. I bought a new suitcase, left half of my grocery stores at the market about an hour away, and my vacation is almost over. I am about to start reading and watching movies. That's about it. I am going to make to a new post about the things that I have been loving. I hope that it is not as boring as this. Thanks for reading!
Until later, I am off to watch Pawn Stars and documentaries.
