Excuses, Excuses

Hello Internet people,

I know that you haven't heard from me in a while, but I promise there is a reason. Since I last wrote, I went to Florida for a week. This was a very fun and relaxing time. The only downside was that there was absolutely no Internet at all. Normally I would just use my phones data, but it seems that Sprint was  unable to recognize where I was, as I had no data. That was over a week ago, which could only mean that I am in Australia!

Yes people it is true. I have been here in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia for the past week. A lot has happened that has left me very flustered, annoyed and excited. First, I have been busy exploring all of Sydney which means that I was only in my room for a few hours in total last week. I only get wifi in my room, so that left me unable to access or update my blog in any way. However, the main thing that has taken up my all of my time is the process of frantically trying to transfer from Macquarie University to the University of Sydney within 2 weeks.

I absolutely hated Macquarie. It was in the middle of nowhere, the villages were located in the forest, and the campus wasn't very pretty. The transportation was hard to get to because the train is a 30 minute walk away, and the bus is slow. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I will always be honest in this blog. 

Finding a live lizard in my toilet was the last straw. I cried for several hours and had panic attacks for the rest of the night. I was so desperate to leave that I willingly agreed to pay the 1000 dollar fine. In case you guys don't know, I'm flat broke. Those 1000 dollars had to come from an unsubsidized loan because I could not stay at Macquarie any longer, but couldn't afford that fine. To end this rant, I now attend the University of Sydney, and I will be officially be enrolled in classes sometime this week (I hope).

Sorry that this blog mostly consisted of updates and me complaining. No worries mates, I will be posting another blog tomorrow that will detail all of the fun things that I have been doing, and it will include pictures as well. I will also be posting a video on YouTube showing you guys all the things I did while I was in Florida sometime this week. Thanks for reading!
