I know that you guys haven't heard from me in a while, and I'm truly sorry for that. The semester is now in full swing, and I am being swamped by the amount of reading that I have to do, but am not doing. I have 4 essays due within the next 4 weeks, but if I manage my time right that will not be a problem. But, who I am kidding, lol I'm not going to manage my time right! I enjoy my life of drinking and partying too much. I would much rather lay in bed, read fan fiction all day, and then go out to the club. Unfortunately, I do actually attend lectures and tutorials most of the time (cough, it gets harder every week). I made a video explaining that whole set up, but I'm not sure when that will be up.
I know that some of you must be curious about the actual course load, so I will insert a sample of my typical week of reading. About 75 pages of philosophy reading, 2 chapters of Deviance and Difference reading, 1 section of Beowulf, and 1 chapter of media reading as well as a blog post and an assigned article. Yes, it does drive me crazy. This is how I deal with it:
Naps are amazing.
I will now stop boring you, and catch you up on all that has happened through a select group of picture. To be honest these past few weeks have blended together into a big blur of nothing. What did I do? I have no freaking clue.
One of the first things that Victoria and I did was go to the Future Music Festival. That was flipping amazing. I felt like I was in a modern day Woodstock. It was very hot and I nearly died from heat exhaustion. Okay, that's a slight exaggeration, but that's what it felt like. I now love Macklemore and if I ever get around to editing those videos, you will all see why. We also went with our friend Melony, but we lost her at the festival.
Victoria and I decided to Barbecue and that went pretty well. We all sat on the green and I ate my steak while itching to death because I am allergic to bugs, and there were bugs everywhere. PS, do not attempt to cook sweet potatoes on the barbie (hehe Australian slang) because they take forever.
Me and Victoria on our way to side bar. Do not go out on Tuesdays. There was nothing happening. But, Monday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's are good days to go out.
A picture of me in front of the sign to the villages. You know, just in case someone didn't believe that I was there.
Victoria and I in her elevator heading out to some club. I don't remember where we went.
This is us at the Opera house. We were all dressed up because we saw a play! That was a good time, except that I was horribly sick and was coughing the whole time. Just in case you're curious, the play was a Winter's Tale, and I thought the performance was rather mediocre.
I really loved this dress. I found it when Victoria and I got lost in the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) and ended up at a mall. This was the gown that I bought after trying on 500 dollar gowns that I couldn't afford. This one was 40 dollars at Dotti.
Well people, that is what happened while I was gone. It's not very exciting. At the moment however, I am in a feud with my housemates and am terribly annoyed with most of them. I won't get into that, so that concludes this blog post. As always I hope that you enjoyed this post. Since our friend Nate was annoyed that he hadn't been mentioned in previous blogs, Hi Nate!
Until next time everyone!
